Katheryn Christy's interests include persuasive message design (often within health communication contexts), the impacts of emerging media, and how we can persuade people using stories. Some of her research projects have focused on designing interactive narratives for communicating health information, the use of UV light photography in skin cancer prevention materials, and identifying narrative features that improve the effectiveness of stigma reduction narratives.
