Biography

Dr. Gerald R. Shuster is a graduate of IUP where he received both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in English-Speech and Communication.  His doctorate is from the University of Pittsburgh with a major focus in political communication and presidential rhetoric.  He has significant experience in teaching on the secondary school level and has taught  at both Robert Morris University and the University of Pittsburgh. At Pitt he teaches political communication, presidential rhetoric, organizational communication, and public speaking.  He routinely does both print and electronic media interviews on local , national, and international media on major political events and personalities.  In his community he serves as an elected official and is also a volunteer firefighter.
