Graduate Student, Brooke Holmes, participates in the Friend of Attention's activism retreat

This summer, Brooke gathered with the Friends of Attention for the 6th annual convening of the Politics of Attention VI: Attention and the Law summer school retreat at the O'Neill Center in Waterford, CT.

Our objective for the week was a deep dive on the legal dimensions of attention activism -- which means that we dug in on a set of current litigation and legislation efforts around Big Tech and "human fracking." Our inquiry was led by lawyer and policy expert Mihir Kshirsagar, a key figure in this field and a longtime Friend of Attention.

Brooke will continue to engage in and spread the work of attention activism* in Pittsburgh and on campus specifically this year. Reach out if you have any questions or interest in joining these efforts!
