Attention Department of Communication graduate students, applications for the Donald B. Egolf Memorial Teaching Award are now open!
The Donald B. Egolf Memorial Teaching Award was founded in honor of long time faculty member, Donald Egolf, and is awarded each year to a graduate student who demonstrates passion and commitment towards undergraduate teaching. To be eligible to apply for the award, applicants must have completed at least two teaching terms at Pitt. Additionally, applicants are asked to provide a cover letter summarizing their commitment to teaching, a statement on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom, a teaching portfolio containing relevant curriculum materials, and video evidence of teaching.Applications for the 2025 cycle are due by 5pm on Monday, February 24 and are to be sent to Lauri Freund at llk1@pitt.edu.
